Before there were pills, Met-Rx (aka METRx) was born. This ready-to-mix nutritional supplement pioneered the generation of Meal Replacement Powders or MRPs which soon followed. Ever heard of SlimFast? Met-Rx paved the way for these second-class supplements.

Those needing the extra boost can mix it in a blender or a shaker bottle before downing the strength-building concoction.

What makes Met-Rx work so well? The newest formulas of it contain a high gram amount of both free-form and peptide bonded glutamine which helps prevent muscle tissue breakdown, thus helping the average or professional bodybuilder keep the muscle that he or she is building. The native casein proteins containing casomorphins are bio-peptides which support protein digestion. And high concentrations of lactoferrin provide extra support during the periods of muscle stress that heavy training produces.
