Hi-Tech utilized a special extraction technique to make the most of this herbal slimming agent. Our overseas factory has always standardized our ephedra extract to 10% ephedrine group alkaloids, with a minimum of 8.5% L-ephedrine (the most effective alkaloid in the ephedra plant). Most other companies’ products varied from 3-6% L-ephedrine, with the remaining alkaloids making up the majority of the extract. Currently, Thermo-ZTM is the only known ephedra extract tested by the FDA and DEA and not subject to any federal or state ban on ephedrine alkaloids. Thermo-ZTM also cannot be diverted into the manufacturing of illicit drugs and, therefore, is exempt from DEA record keeping requirements.
