For the typical gym rat there are only a couple of steps: workout, eat, sleep and repeat. I totally get this and loved those days when it was that simple. Before hitting the gym there are three supplements that every athlete needs to take. Whether you are trying to build muscle or increase strength, there are three simple types of products you should target. These products can typically be found in a good preworkout formula.

3 Things To Look For In Your Pre Workout

Creatine – ATP is very important when it comes to workouts. Creatine helps with the production of this muscle energy, called ATP. Creatine helps to fuel the muscle by saturation of creatine phosphates. These phosphates rapidly break down and absorb and are used as energy during exercise.
