I’m sure we have all tried many different protein bars …and they are usually disgusting. Sometimes chocolate can mask the flavor a bit, but if you eat them every day, sometimes you really gotta choke them down. I have found a few protein bars that tasted pretty good, but they were loaded with fats, sugars, and carbs. So, I have been on the look-out for the protein bar I could actually enjoy that also had quality ingredients.
Wondering which are the best protein bars? I finally found an awesome protein bar- Quest bar. They are healthy, delicious and are low-carb with a lot of protein. Most protein bars have a ton of fat and calories because they were made to be energy bars. Thankfully, I can get all the protein I need without adding all that fat and sugar. Quest bars have two different lines and the differences are between flavors and sweetener: the natural line and the 99.95% natural line. The later uses sucralose, but the all natural line uses stevia! Stevia is completely natural and one of the healthiest sweeteners in existence.
I have been waiting years for a company to use this sweetener in their protein products. The wait is over and I am very happy these bars exist. Other good thing about these bars is that they have high fiber content. This helps keep you feeling full after you eat one. Also, some of the protein comes from nuts, so it includes multi-protein sources. They are gluten-free too!
In summary I would highly recommend these bars because:
• Delicious and a lot of flavors to try
• Low-carb & no sugar
• High & healthy amount of protein
• Keep you full (high fiber)
Quest bar is probably the best protein bar on the market, if you want high protein and low carbs packed into a delicious bar. If you haven’t already, you should really try them. If you like coconut, I’d recommend trying the coconut cashew, Mmm mmm!
